February 9, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), saw Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy's basketball squad wallop Chesterton Academy by a count of 70-13.
With the victory, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Eagle travel to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM) to play the Warriors in a A District 7 challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Jemez Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Saints play the Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) in a A District 7 challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Chesterton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 43-27 league loss to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
