California High School Basketball - Rodriguez tops Fairfield
January 17, 2023: Fairfield, CA 94534 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) and the visiting Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA), saw Rodriguez's basketball squad knock off Fairfield by a count of 65-56.
With the victory, Rodriguez upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a Monticello Empire League challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Vanden lost 60-59 in their recent league challenge against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA) in a Monticello Empire League challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 52-49 league loss to Wood (Vacaville, CA).
