In Tuesday's league outing, the Milano Eagles (Milano, TX) basketball squad edged the host Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX), by a count of 47-42.

The Eagles (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Granger (Granger, TX). The Lions go into the 2A Region IV District 27 outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Granger was tipped by Hearne (Hearne, TX), 46-43, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Thrall for a 2A Region IV District 27 outing on Friday, January 20. Thorndale will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 57-45 league loss to Milano (Milano, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.
