January 17, 2023: Covington Township, PA 18444 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) and the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), saw North Pocono's basketball squad overcome Wallenpaupack Area by a tally of 56-45.
With the victory, North Pocono improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Scranton (Scranton, PA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Scranton won 82-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA)
Next up, the Buckhorns confront the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 74-57 league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA).
