January 17, 2023: Stevens Point, WI 54481 The Pacelli Cardinals basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Port Edwards Blackhawks to 53 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosholt for a Central Wisconsin - South contest on Friday, January 20. Pacelli will battle a Hornets team coming off a 61-21 league loss to Pittsville (Pittsville, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 2-11.
The Blackhawks (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI). The Eagles come into the Central Wisconsin - South contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Almond-Bancroft prevailed over Wild Rose (Wild Rose, WI), 57-25, in a league contest.
