Minnesota High School Basketball - Warren-Alvarado-Oslo crushes Polk County West [Climax/Fisher]
January 17, 2023: Climax, MN 56523 Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies (Warren, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] Knights (Climax, MN), 89-44 in a league bout.
With the victory, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Ponies travel to Clearbrook-Gonvick (Clearbrook, MN) to play the Bears in a A Section 8 bout on Friday, January 20. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Clearbrook-Gonvick lost 86-76 in their recent league bout against Goodridge/Grygla (Goodridge, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the Bagley Flyers (Bagley, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 81-56 non-league loss to Warroad (Warroad, MN).
