February 14, 2023: Climax, MN 56523 The Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] Knights (Climax, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators (Badger, MN), 61-56 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN). The Rebels go into the A Section 8 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls got by Goodridge/Grygla (Goodridge, MN), 84-61, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to East Grand Forks for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will encounter a Green Wave squad coming off a 75-59 league win over Crookston (Crookston, MN). The Green Wave record now stands at 9-10.
