February 23, 2023: Baudette, MN 56623 The Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators (Badger, MN), 69-64 in Thursday's league test.
The Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] (Climax, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 8 test with a 4-19 record. In their last test, Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] was tipped by Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN), 91-34, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 2-20 record. They play next when they host Red Lake for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28.
