The Wharton Tigers topped the visiting Sealy Tigers basketball team by a final score of 59-45 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 game, on Friday, January 20. Wharton will attempt to move on its 11-15 season record. The Brahmas enter the game with a 15-7 record after their 50-48 league loss to Royal (Brookshire, TX).
