January 17, 2023: Front Royal, VA 22630 The William Monroe Dragons basketball team (Stanardsville, VA), was routed 68-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA)
The Hawks now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherando for a Northwestern battle on Wednesday, January 18. Skyline will battle a Warriors team coming off a 78-58 league win over Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.
The Dragons (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats come into the Northwestern battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Warren County was routed by Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 72-61, in a league battle.
