January 24, 2023: Stanardsville, VA 22973 The Brentsville District Tigers basketball team (Nokesville, VA), was toppled 64-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA)
The Dragons now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a Northwestern battle on Friday, January 27. William Monroe will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 69-34 league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars come into the Northwestern battle with a 0-15 record. In their last battle, Manassas Park was toppled by Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 59-44, in a league battle.
