Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN), 79-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Andover upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Huskies travel to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Centennial won 75-47 in their recent non-league bout against Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN)

Next up, the Rebels play the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Champlin Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 62-45 league win over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN).
