Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) and the visiting Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN), saw Champlin Park's basketball squad hold off Park Center by a tally of 44-42.

With the victory, Champlin Park improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN) to confront the Crimson in a AAAA Section 5 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Crimson come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Maple Grove won 89-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Park Center will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 62-36 non-league win over Osseo (Osseo, MN).
