Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN), 75-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Cougars host Andover (Andover, MN) to play the Huskies in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Andover won 79-60 in their recent non-league bout against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)

Next up, the Pirates play the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Park Center will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 72-65 non-league loss to Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN).
