The Centennial Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Blaine Bengals to 53 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Champlin Park for a AAAA Section 5 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Centennial will battle a Rebels team coming off a 72-25 non-league win over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.
