In Tuesday's league outing, the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), by a margin of 61-19.

The Governors (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD). The Lynx go into the AA outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Brandon Valley was trounced by Marshall (Marshall, MN), 60-55, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hot Springs for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19. Douglas will clash with a Bison squad coming off a 58-28 league loss to Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Bison record now stands at 5-5.
