Michigan High School Basketball - Hancock overwhelms Wright
January 17, 2023: Hancock, MI 49930 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) and the visiting Wright Red Devils (Ironwood, MI), saw Hancock's basketball squad wallop Wright by a tally of 51-14.
With the victory, Hancock improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI) to confront the Mountaineers in a Mid-Peninsula challenge on Friday, January 20. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 0-8.
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Wright will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Bays come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 57-38 league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, MI).
