Michigan High School Basketball - Hancock crushes L'Anse
February 23, 2023: Hancock, MI 49930 Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI), 71-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI) to clash with the Hematites in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 1. The Hematites go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Ishpeming won 47-32 in their recent non-league bout against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI)
Next up, the Purple Hornets clash with the Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. L'Anse will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 46-22 non-league loss to Calumet (Calumet, MI).
