Nebraska High School Basketball - Twin Loup tops Mullen

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE) and the visiting Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE), saw Twin Loup's basketball squad knock off Mullen by a tally of 49-41.

With the victory, Twin Loup improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE) to play the Renegades in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Renegades come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Chambers/Wheeler Central lost 57-16 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE)

Next up, the Broncos play the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Mullen will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to Alliance (Alliance, NE).
