North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community edges Queen's Grant

January 17, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269

The Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 42-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Sugar Creek got by Carolina International (Concord, NC), 53-48, in a non-league test.

The Stallions now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina International for a test on Friday, January 20. Queen's Grant will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Comets record now stands at 5-8.
