North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant can't hold off Carolina International

January 19, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

The Carolina International Comets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions to 67 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Carolina International will battle a Patriots team coming off a 49-38 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 6-6.

The Stallions (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
