Kansas High School Basketball - Junction City trounces Sumner Academy
January 17, 2024: Junction City, KS 66441 The Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS), 92-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans go into the Centennial test with a 6-3 record.
The Sabres now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Harmon for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Sumner Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 57-15 non-league loss to Spring Hill (Spring Hill, KS). The Hawks record now stands at 1-8.
