January 17, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76114 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) and the host Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), saw Lake Worth's basketball squad wallop Castleberry by a tally of 44-21.
With the victory, Lake Worth improves its record to 14-15 on the campaign. The Bullfrogs host Decatur (Decatur, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 22-5. Decatur won 42-41 in their recent league challenge against Krum (Krum, TX)
Next up, the Lions confront the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Castleberry will attempt to improve on its 9-18 season record. The Porcupines come into the challenge with a 16-14 record after their 80-36 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
