Louisiana High School Basketball - Rayville thwarts Beekman Charter
January 17, 2025: Rayville, LA 71269 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA) and the visiting Beekman Charter Tigers (Bastrop, LA), observed Rayville's basketball team beat Beekman Charter by a tally of 69-60.
The Hornets now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Mangham for a 2A District 2 bout on Monday, January 20. Rayville will play a Dragons team coming off a 61-41 non-league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, LA). The Dragons record now stands at 11-11.
With the loss, Beekman Charter falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Delhi Charter (Delhi, LA) to play the Gators in a 2A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Delhi Charter lost 69-37 in their recent league bout against Ferriday (Ferriday, LA)
