High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC), 70-48 in a league match.

With the victory, High Point Academy upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Easley (Easley, SC) to face the Green Wave in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Green Wave enter the match with a record of 11-6. Easley won 70-68 in their recent league match against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC)

The Wildcats now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Hill for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Blacksburg will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 56-50 league loss to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-11.
