South Carolina High School Basketball - Broome thwarts Blacksburg

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) and the visiting Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC), observed Broome's basketball team knock off Blacksburg by a score of 60-44.

The Centurions (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Chapman dropped by Blue Ridge (Greer, SC), 74-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) in a AA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Blacksburg will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 54-49 league win over Greenville Tech Charter (Greenville, SC).
