Oregon High School Basketball - New Hope Christian sneaks past Camas Valley
January 17, 2025: Grants Pass, OR 97527 The New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) basketball edged the visiting Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR), 47-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Warriors now have a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Days Creek for a 1A Skyline game on Saturday, January 18. New Hope Christian will confront a Wolves team coming off a 51-39 league win over Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Wolves record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Camas Valley falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Hornets host Powers (Powers, OR) to confront the Cruisers in a 1A Skyline game on Saturday, January 18. The Cruisers go into the game with a record of 3-9. Powers lost 72-31 in their recent league game against Riddle (Riddle, OR)
