California High School Basketball - Gridley overwhelms Corning

January 17, 2025: Corning, CA 96021

The Gridley Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Corning Cardinals to 40 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Live Oak for a Butte View game on Tuesday, January 21. Gridley will confront a Lions team coming off a 62-34 league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Corning falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Orland (Orland, CA) to confront the Trojans in a Butte View game on Wednesday, January 22. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 15-4. Orland won 68-63 in their recent league match against Oroville (Oroville, CA)
