California High School Basketball - Corning holds off Las Plumas

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Corning Cardinals basketball team scored a close 45-42 triumph over the Las Plumas Thunderbirds.

The Cardinals (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Lions go into the Butte View contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Live Oak was tipped by Oroville (Oroville, CA), 69-22, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) in a Butte View contest, on Friday, February 14. Las Plumas will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 19-8 record after their 67-39 league loss to Gridley (Gridley, CA).
