The Silverado Skyhawks basketball squad (Las Vegas, NV), was nudged 64-62 in Friday's league battle with the host Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV)

With the victory, Desert Pines advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Gaels in a 5A Southern battle on Wednesday, January 22. The Gaels enter the battle with a record of 15-4.

The Skyhawks now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheyenne for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Silverado will meet a Desert Shields squad coming off a 72-44 league loss to Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields record now stands at 3-15.
