January 17, 2025: Auburn, ME 04210 Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), 48-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Edward Little upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Red Eddies travel to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-9. Mt. Ararat lost 67-56 in their recent league match against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME)
The Blue Blazes now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brunswick for a A South match on Tuesday, January 21. Westbrook will battle a Dragons team coming off a 60-45 league win over Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 6-7.
