The Eureka Vandals defeated the visiting Wells Leopards basketball squad by a final score of 54-44 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Vandals clash with the Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV) in a 1A East outing, on Saturday, January 18. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the outing with a 6-4 record after their 73-63 league loss to McDermitt (McDermitt, NV).
