January 17, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311 The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball squad (Carlisle, KY), was nudged 58-56 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY)
With the victory, Pendleton County advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to meet the Polar Bears in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Polar Bears enter the battle with a record of 6-9. Bracken County won 56-51 in their recent non-league battle against East Carter (Grayson, KY)
The Bluejackets now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menifee County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Nicholas County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 72-57 league loss to Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-11.
