January 17, 2025: Woodstock, VT 05091 Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), 69-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Wasps host Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT) to face the Wildcats in a Southern Vermont - C match on Wednesday, January 22. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-3. Twin Valley won 72-37 in their recent league match against Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH)
The Raiders now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellows Free Academy for a Mountain match on Monday, January 20. Stowe will face a Bullets squad coming off a 66-63 non-league loss to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Bullets record now stands at 4-6.
