New York High School Basketball - Waterloo nips Wayne
January 17, 2025: Ontario Center, NY 14520 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Waterloo Tigers basketball team scored a close 60-53 win over the Wayne Eagles.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY). The Screaming Eagles come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Midlakes was tipped by Geneva (Geneva, NY), 67-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils (Seneca Falls, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Wayne will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 55-35 league win over Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY).
