December 20, 2024: Waterloo, NY 13165 Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 61-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Waterloo upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Tigers host Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East match on Tuesday, January 7. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Reds now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to School of the Arts for a non-league match on Friday, December 27.
