Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 61-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rio Grande advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Ravens host West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-6.

The Monarchs now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Manzano will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 44-42 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
