Arizona High School Basketball - Ray topples Globe
In Friday's non-league outing, the Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) basketball squad beat the host Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ), by a margin of 66-57.
The Bearcats (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Green Fields Country Day (Tucson, AZ). The Griffins go into the IV Section II outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, Green Fields Country Day was topped by Baboquivari (Sells, AZ), 60-50, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 5-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Superior for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 22. Globe will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-11.
