Idaho High School Basketball - Garden Valley tops Cascade
January 18, 2022: Garden Valley, ID 83622 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Garden Valley Wolverines (Garden Valley, ID) and the visiting Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID), saw Garden Valley's basketball squad knock off Cascade by a count of 68-53.
With the victory, Garden Valley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Meadows Valley (New Meadows, ID) to play the Mountaineers in a 1A Long Pin challenge on Thursday, January 20. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Meadows Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID)
Next up, the Ramblers play the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) in a 1A Long Pin challenge, on Friday, January 21. Cascade will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 73-40 league win over Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID).
