Idaho High School Basketball - Council tops Garden Valley
January 28, 2022: Council, ID 83612 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) and the visiting Garden Valley Wolverines (Garden Valley, ID), saw Council's basketball squad knock off Garden Valley by a count of 74-57.
With the victory, Council upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Cascade (Cascade, ID) to play the Ramblers in a 1A Long Pin challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Cascade won 50-23 in their recent league challenge against Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) in a 1A Long Pin challenge, on Monday, January 31. Garden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
