Washington High School Basketball - Kent-Meridian nips Kentwood
January 18, 2022: Covington, WA 98042 Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA), 66-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kent-Meridian upgrades its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Royals host Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Friday, January 21. The Ravens come into the bout with a record of 3-12. Auburn Riverside lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Beamer (Federal Way, WA)
Next up, the Conquerors play the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 21. Kentwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 61-50 non-league win over Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA).
