January 18, 2023: Wingate, PA 16823 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) and the visiting East Juniata Tigers (McAlisterville, PA), saw Bald Eagle Area's basketball squad overcome East Juniata by a tally of 40-28.
With the victory, Bald Eagle Area improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bald Eagles travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a Mountain challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Philipsburg-Osceola lost 39-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA) in a Tri-Valley challenge, on Friday, January 20. East Juniata will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 42-20 league win over Millersburg (Millersburg, PA).
