New Jersey High School Basketball - Kennedy Memorial knocked off by South Plainfield
January 18, 2023: South Plainfield, NJ 07080 The South Plainfield Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs to 35 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perth Amboy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. South Plainfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-38 non-league loss to North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-7.
The Mustangs (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Middlesex ran past J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
