December 15, 2022: North Plainfield, NJ 07060 The North Plainfield Canucks basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs to 34 in the Canucks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Canucks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perth Amboy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. North Plainfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ). The Tigers come into the Greater Middlesex - White contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, South Plainfield triumphed over J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ), 43-40, in a non-league contest.
