January 18, 2024: Summit, IL 60501 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) and the visiting Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), saw Argo's basketball squad overcome Shepard by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, Argo improves its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL) to play the Mustangs in a South Suburban challenge on Friday, January 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Evergreen Park won 61-42 in their recent league challenge against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL)
Next up, the Astros play the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Shepard will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 60-53 non-league win over College Prep of America (Lombard, IL).
