Connecticut High School Basketball - Litchfield nips Canton
January 18, 2024: Canton, CT 06019 Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), 62-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Litchfield upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT) to play the Bears in a Berkshire bout on Friday, January 19. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Thomaston won 97-64 in their recent non-league bout against Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT)
Next up, the Warriors play the Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Saturday, January 20. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 76-73 league loss to Rockville (Vernon, CT).
