Connecticut High School Basketball - Wamogo holds off Litchfield
February 1, 2024: Litchfield, CT 06759 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT) and the host Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), saw Wamogo's basketball squad hold off Litchfield by a tally of 54-53.
With the victory, Wamogo improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Litchfield will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 70-56 non-league win over Platt (Meriden, CT).
