February 9, 2024: Litchfield, CT 06759 In Friday's non-league outing, the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), by a margin of 68-45.
The Spartans (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 13-3 record. In their last bout, Ellington was crushed by Granby Memorial (Granby, CT), 56-53, in a league bout.
Next up, the Warriors play the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Wamogo will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
