Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley tops Terryville
January 30, 2024: Washington, CT 06793 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) and the visiting Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT), saw Shepaug Valley's basketball squad knock off Terryville by a tally of 70-53.
With the victory, Shepaug Valley improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT) to play the Chiefs in a Berkshire challenge on Friday, February 2. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Nonnewaug won 68-66 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT)
Next up, the Kangaroos play the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Friday, February 2. Terryville will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT).
