Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley nudges Northwestern Regional
January 19, 2024: Winsted, CT 06098 Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), 67-60 in a league bout.
With the win, Shepaug Valley upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Thomaston (Thomaston, CT) to clash with the Bears in a Berkshire bout on Friday, January 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) in a Berkshire bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Northwestern Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 76-49 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT).
